Foreign Minister Budrys recalled that two years ago, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Organization carried out the deadliest terrorist attack in Israel’s recent history.

He noted that thousands of innocent people lost their lives, hundreds were taken hostage, and many remain held in Gaza, adding, “The wounds of October 7, 2023 are still felt deeply and painfully.”

Budrys honored those who lost their lives and those whose lives were forever changed, saying, “Many are still waiting for their loved ones to return. We continue to hope that peace will prevail in the ongoing negotiations and that all hostages will finally return home.”
