Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar announced that he had spoken by phone with former Senator Mushtaq via Pakistan’s Ambassador in Amman.

Dar noted that Senator Mushtaq was in good health and high spirits, praising his courage and determination in joining the “Sumud Flotilla,” which aims to break the blockade to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza and support the Palestinian cause.

Dar stated, “Senator Mushtaq thanked Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its efforts to reach him through the mission of a friendly European country in Tel Aviv, Israel, and also thanked Pakistan’s Embassy in Amman for its full support and facilitation during his stay and for ensuring his safety.”
