Guterres: Over 370 UNRWA staff killed in Gaza
Brussels, September 30 (Hibya) – UNRWA Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, speaking about the staff killed in Gaza, said: “Each of them suffered unimaginable losses. Homes and communities were destroyed. Families were completely wiped out.”
UNRWA Secretary-General Antonio Guterres made a statement regarding the UNRWA staff killed in Gaza. Guterres said: “More than 370 of our dear colleagues were killed. Each of them suffered unimaginable losses. Homes and communities were destroyed. Families were completely wiped out.”
Guterres added: “Yet, in the face of this relentless horror, they somehow continue to endure. They continue to serve the people of Gaza with courage and dedication that inspire the world.”
Guterres concluded his statement by saying: “We will never forget them.”
