Hamas accepted Trump’s Gaza plan
Stockholm, October 3 (Hibya) – Hamas accepted U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan and announced that it is ready to release all Israeli captives, both alive and deceased.
According to Al Jazeera, the Palestinian group declared its readiness to release all Israeli captives – alive and deceased – under the exchange plan included in Trump’s proposal, in order to end Israel’s war on Gaza and ensure the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the region.
Hamas confirmed that within the framework of the plan, the movement is ready to start negotiations through mediators to discuss the details of the agreement.
It was also noted that an agreement had been reached to transfer Gaza’s administration to an independent Palestinian cabinet of technocrats, based on “Palestinian national reconciliation and Arab and Islamic support.”
Hamas stated: “Other issues raised in President Trump’s proposal regarding the future of the Gaza Strip and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people are tied to a unified national stance and relevant international laws and resolutions. These will be addressed through a comprehensive Palestinian national framework in which Hamas will responsibly participate and contribute.”
