Macron: We are working tirelessly to bring the hostages home
Paris, October 7 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized that the pain of the horror caused by the terrorist attacks of October 7, 2023, remains fresh on their second anniversary.
President Macron stressed that the pain of the October 7 tragedy is still vivid.
He noted that the victims will not be forgotten, saying: “Fifty-one of our citizens also lost their lives in this tragedy.” Referring to the 48 hostages still held by Hamas, Macron said: “We are working tirelessly to bring them home.”
Renewing his call for the immediate release of all hostages and an immediate ceasefire, Macron expressed solidarity with the grieving families, stating: “Such barbarity must never happen again. Let us unite all our efforts to fight antisemitism and build peace everywhere.”
