Zelensky calls for peace
Kyiv, October 7 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for peace, recalling the massive destruction and humanitarian catastrophe caused by the war following the attacks of October 7, 2023.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that following the attacks carried out by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Organization against Israel on October 7, 2023, the kidnapped hostages remain in captivity and deaths continue. He said: “However, there is now an opportunity to end the war, release the hostages, improve the humanitarian situation, and prevent renewed conflicts in the region.”
The Ukrainian President expressed his support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace efforts, stating: “We hope that the negotiations and contacts aimed at achieving peace will yield the necessary results. Peace must prevail — we wish this for every family and every nation.”
